Sonometry & Dosimetry
Measuring noise levels and workers’ noise exposures helps identify work locations where there are noise problems, employees who may be affected, and where additional noise measurements need to be made. OSHA establishes that there are various factors that may indicate noise is a problem in the workplace. While people react differently to noise, subjective responses should not be ignored because they may provide warnings that noise may be at unacceptable levels. We conduct sonometry and dosimetry tests according to OSHA standards.
